独立、開拓の中で、清教徒の精神を貫き通し、その過程で生まれた文化を広い心で受け入れ、学ばなければなりません。
21世紀に於いて、私たち自身が理想とする生活、社会、国家を、私たちがどのように想像し、又、どのように実現して行くかを模索しながら、主体性を持って、欧米の人々の理想と共に、世界の人々と行動することが、語学修得の主旨であり、又、一方、彼らと模索しながら、共に歩むことが、価値を見出すことと信じます。
